DENTOH KARATE CLUB

Dentoh Karate was formed 16th January 2008 by James Boardman,  James has trained in Martial arts from the age of about six, practising in various styles.  James decided that Goju Ryu was closest to his heart and his beliefs, he became a member of the English Goju Ryu Karate Association (EGKA) and the International Okinawan Goju Ryu Karate Federation (IOGKF) and started his own club ‘Dentoh Karate’ in order to spread Goju Ryu across the South East incorporating all the benefits Okinawan Goju Ryu and its chief Instructor Morio Higoanna Sensei has to offer..

He believes that passing this knowledge on to as many people as possible, we are a club dedicated to giving adults, families and children a time old martial art proven in its effectiveness.  We are an honest, family club open to all providing all the fantastic benefits goju ryu has to offer.

True self defence, practised consistently in partner work, enabling you to feel confident in your abilities.  Providing focus and discipline in young ones, fitness and wellbeing of body and mind.

We believe wholeheartedly in what we teach, and believe that knowledge is a gift and that all should be gifted.

The benefits of Goju Ryu go beyond training and fitness, you will meet likeminded people who share the same passion.

We have a structured grading system within our club and will work tirelessly to help you achieve your goals.

A truly memorable journey, should be one taken with commitment and dedication and integrity to last forever in your heart.

I invite you on our journey……….

Yours in Karate do
